You said it, Christy. Most muds themselves just want a character name and a 
password for that character. The only time you have to give them your email 
address, and only the address, is so you can do a password recovery or reset, 
like if you forget the password of a character you haven't played in a while. 
And it could be a bug in the mobile app. If I went to the web I MIGHT be able 
to set up a client-specific password as I was trying to do in the app. But I 
think I'm gonna write these guys off as a "hard nope", especially after reading
