A few weeks ago I got the bright idea to try setting my scrollback limit from the client's default of 1,000 to 0. When I tried logging in this evening the lag was completely gone. To the point that I could finish the mouse-hunting quest in the Brown House and buy some equipment, all without a hitch. So thanks for your ideas, Jude, in that flurry of messages we had a little while ago. I didn't end up using them, but they were still much appreciated. And hopefully the lag will stax away so I can get back to Alter on a refular basis.
