Sadly, Mush does not work with Narrator, and Idon't even know if that is possible, and gradually more people will want to use that. It is very good though.

Oof! I didn't realize MushZ specifically couldn't be used with other worlds. I've seen something that sounded like MushZ being used to play both Erion and The Gathering. But maybe it was just MushClient with your aforementioned plugins. Thanks for the correction, John.

By default out of the box, MushClient supports neither speech nor
an output window. You can technically use your screen review
commands to read text, but that's clunky and impractical.

Plugins provide a basically unlimited ability to expand the
client, and there are several common plugins that are used to make
it one of the best for vi/blind folks.

MushClient has a built-in notepad function, and the
output_functions plugin uses this to create a constantly updated
output window. You press ctrl+tab to move between the output
    window and game.

MushReader interacts with all the main screen readers, and sends
incoming text directly to them. You can type tts to turn speech on
    and off.

Other plugins you'll commonly see are channel_history which
provides the ability to review recent messages with alt and the
number row, and lua audio, which provides a lot of sound-handling
functionality not included in the client by default.

Mush-z, please remember to differentiate this from mushClient, is
very specifically tailored for Alter Aeon. It cannot be used with
other worlds as the plugins in it have been heavily modified.

There are several other games out there that use mushClient as
their base, but I know that the package for Stellar Aeon is both
updated and able to handle other worlds.

    Hi John.

Ah Mush client. I have heard of that. And that version really
    works with any mud?

And what are the plugins for? Isn't the mush client built like one
edit box for input and when tabbing once you land in the output
    window or something like that?

That is, what i am used too because i have been using vipmud by
GMA games but i think this software is no longer supported.

    Best regards

    Daniel.

The client is Mush Client, and it is fully accessible with a
    couple of plugins.

I would actually recommend installing the package for stellar aeon:

    https://stellaraeon.com

as that's a lot better suited to working with other worlds.

The plugins you want are output_functions and MushReader, both of
which are included. You can also just use that copy of mushClient
to connect to any world you wish.

Then the accessible client I've seen in use would be MushZ.
Although there are others. Even if you don't play Alter Aeon,
their web site has a section called Blind Player Support which
lists several accessible clients for Windows. And Macs too, if I
recall correctly. Site: alteraeon.com On Jul 1, 2024 3:12 PM,

output panel to view the messages if there is a lot of
scroll? Any hint is apreciated. Kind Regards Daniel
