I play sometimes for short time Ultra World. I recognise your questions.
You can ask them in the public chat (press / and enter your message)
You can in the house find the ultra worlds menu, there you can find maps
and quests.
I hoped it was a sort of copy of Survive the wild, but I have not the
real drive to stay plaing at the moment.

Like the subject says, just wondering if there are any Ultra World players? I
just downloaded it, and wouldn't mind a few pointers to get started. I read the
readme and I'm inside the house. I have my starter pack, but I'm not sure what
to do from here. According to the readme, there are instructions in the house,
but I haven't found anything yet. I'm still trying to figure out the keystrokes
as well. I couldn't get Jaws to work with it. Is there a way to use Jaws, or
not? I'm using NVDA and that works fine. I was just curious about Jaws.
