Basically, an "idle" game means you can tell your character what to do and it will do it. For instance, you tap a button called "battle" while standing before a monster and your character fights it with no more input from you. Or you go into settings, set the game to explore until your backpack is full, then tap the theexplore" buttonofand vf your character goes. That's an idle game. To contrast this (the way most games would do these things: You have to choose which direction to go in order to explore, choose whether to pick up the loot you come across as you go, and monitor your inventory so it doesn't get too full. You have to choose what weapon to use in fighting a monster, whether to switch weapons mid-fight, and whether to even fight this particular monster on flee from battle. Hepe this helps explain some differences between "idle" and "regular" games.
