Your message comes off as really rude and disparaging. He probably didn’t
bother with the expense of Braille letters on the system itself because only a
very small percentage of blind folks actually read Braille. I wish that Braille
wasn’t a lost art, but that’s neither here nor there for the purposes of this
discussion. The point is that he probably looked up the statistics, weighed his
options, and decided it made more sense not to include it. It’s not like he
gave us a system with some sort of inaccessible touch screen interface and
tried to call it blind-friendly. Now that would be a problem.

Look, we all know that many audio game developers don’t stick around for the
long haul, for whatever the reason may be. So, if this system doesn’t end up
going anywhere, it was fun while it lasted, right? That’s no different than the
plethora of other devs who came out with an amazing game or two and then quit a
few years later. Why are we acting like this is somehow different? That’s not
to say I believe that’s how this will go, just saying that I do understand the
wariness to a degree. The point is, we don’t have that many audio game devs who
have been around since audio games became a thing. We have far more who have
moved on for various reasons, so, even if that does happen, we shouldn’t be
crapping all over this system, because it’s still entertainment. Put another
way, let’s say your favorite TV show or book series ends, are you going to yell
at every author/producer who comes out with literally any similar media ever
because it might end? I sure hope not.

Hi.

Well this is what I was sent

 &dl=1

Its on my cloud for personal backup but I guess if people want this they can go
have it.

Its a basic print document straight from the printout.

I am still perplexed on the reason that stuff is not downloadable on the
website.

I also enquired on the dev system and was given the game dev page with youtube
videos which is all its got.

There are no software downloads, no downloads of documentation just those
videos.

I was told after looking I have to make up a storyline with 3 episodes, etc.

Its interesting but for me it was a turnoff.

I don't understand why there are no manuals or documentation for the dev stuff
or software downloads or anything.

Its really strange.

I suspect that while the system is made to be played by the blind the
development is meant for the sighted only.

With documentation not readily previded I do wander if this guy actually means
to develop long term.

I mean I will buy all his carts and stick them in a bag I found for everything
but this could be a short term system.

It doesn't seem that this guy has even attempted to load text documentation
online and that should be reasonably easy.

I also got back a responce on braille dots on letters and aparently his
responce was expense again and that the blind had no trouble and that sighted
people pressed the lights instead.

I do wander to be honest if this guy is actually serius on survivability of the
system.

Maybe he is just starting out so I will give him the benefit of the doubt here
especially as this is v1.

But if he doesn't buck up his ideas I suspect the only reason he will survive
is he is the only one but eventually as things update he will go the way most
do and I think thats a shame.

The fact he is active is because old gens like myself still remember the old
systems.

It will be interesting what will happen after we jump dimentions.

I suggest those that want it enjoy it because I suspect the way this is set its
life isn't that long and its got so much potential.
