Hi Monica,

That's ok, I'd still go for a ride with you any time, anyway.

Here is a drive through of the Indy Oval track number 4.
(the easiest of the tracks)

After you pick the track, the difficulty level 1 and 1 lap, the car will start
to accelerate. Wait until just before the speedometer says 75, press the up
arrow key to shift into high gear. Now just wait until you hear a loud sound
out of the left speaker. This indicates that you are in a left hand turn, so
start tapping the left arrow key. If the wind sound is getting louder in the
left speaker it means that you are getting closer to the left side of the
track, so you want to tap the left arrow key less quickly. If instead the wind
sound is getting louder in the right speaker it means that you are getting
closer to the right side of the track, so you will want to tap the left arrow
key more quickly. Just keep at this until you hear a loud bonk sound out of
both speakers. This means that you are out of the turn and on the back
straightaway. So just again wait until you again hear a loud sound out of the
left speaker. This indicates that you are in the second and last left hand
turn. Again use the left arrow key as described above. At any time you can
also press the c key which will speak a number. 5 is in the middle of the
track. A lower number is to the left of center and a higher number is to the
right of center.

I hope that might help you to get familiar with the way that the car and sounds
work. If you would like a drive through of any of the other tracks, just let
me know.

BTW I think that the Kirtland dirt mile oval track is my favorite. I found a
way to drive it on the edge. I drive it in high gear but never use the brakes
or down shift. It's pretty wild and takes split second timing. The Mentor
road race track is probably my second favorite. The hard part is that you want
to down shift as late as possible and then up shift as soon as possible. But
if you are off by just a tiny bit you are off into the wall.
