I believe that a hoagie is a Sandwich. <grin>
In golf though a bogey is one shot worse than a par. Par is what you are
shooting for. A birdie is one shot better than par. An eagle is two shots
better than par. Of course a double bogey is two shots worse than par and a
double eagle is three shots better than par.
