Hi, Nicol. Often in arcade style games like Troopenum and Dark Destroyer there is a set number of ships you must destroy before you can continue on to the next level. If you have not destroyed that number the ships will continue to respaun, (be recreated,) until you reach that number. if you happen to reach that number other ships are simply ignored, and you move on. As for the ship sounds there are sound engineers that create effects for games, movies, etc for a living. I can't remember the exact title of the person who does that, but there are people who know how to do it. In real life space ships don't sound like they do in movies and games. In fact, in space there is no sound at all. It is all in the mind of he creator who creates the game. As for golden ships there are no golden ships in existance that I know of. The NASA space shuttle, for example, is actually white and black.
