Actually, ESP didn't produce Ten Pin Alley. PCS Games originally produced
it for the DOS platform and Josh from Adora Entertainment ported it to
Windows and, probably along the way although I haven't played it, enhanced
it. Being the original owner of ESP, I never wrote a bowling game, much
preferring to rather being there in real life so one can have much more fun
damaging real life stuff with the ball. Btw, do you have another first name
besides "Figure"? *grin*

ESP produced one called Ten Pin Alley. But, and this is strictly my opinion

based on the trailor, the voicing was very intrusive. First of all, the
voice itself was very dorky, and second of all, it sounded like it was
geared towards toddlers because the voice told you everything as if it were
the DVS track on a movie, and I found that that detracted from being able to

feel like you were really there in a bowling alley bowling. Personally, for

a game like that, I would almost rather have no voice except to announce
scores and bowl entirely by sound. Like, have the pins make some kind of
noise so you can hear where they are, preferably one that's as realistic as
possible, and then just aim the ball toward that sound. Maybe have the
sound of the ball rolling change slightly, like the footsteps do in SOD when

it's about to gutter, and of course you'd hear it gutter. Anyway, that
would be a great idea, but it needs to be a really good bowling game. AS I
said though, this is just my personal opinion of Ten Pin Alley based on the
trailor. I've never actually tried the game because, truth to tell, the
trailor turned me off.
