I don't know if any of you know this, but there is another way of turning JAWS off temporarily during game play. Just open the game. Then go into the configuration manager and go to the settings menu, then select the advanced settings option. Check the "sleep mode" and "unload synthesizer" checkboxes and press enter, then press CTRL+s to save the file. When you close the manager, JFW should go into sleep mode and you should be able to play the games as if JFW were off completely.
