Well, it's the second time she's said that she would refuse to respond to me and/or about me, and then she goes off and gets the thread going again. And, she said below that what's transpired over the past couple days wouldn't affect her ultimate decision of sticking with the list as owner/moderator/member. I think that bit was thrown in there as to affect that she won't back down or give it up. She's always come across to me as sarcastic, acerbic, frustrated, or with some fair amount of personal issue/baggage/etc. At times, I've wondered what exactly her 'family' consists of.. eighteen cats and a box of ice cream?

She posted the following as been received in private Emails. :>> Hi Brenda, >> >> I'm just writing you off list to say that I think that it is a good thing >> that you bring up Mr North's pre-order record whenever he makes known that >> he is looking for them. It will >> probably happen some time during late 2006. If you'd be interested in >> becoming a moderator of the list you might want to send a message to the >> owners of the list at: >> My comment here is that if you listen to the above information using a screen reader, it appears that this was a message that she sent. She should not have sent it without the sender's permission. Anyway, I got after her for sending the last bit of info, because, if you think about it, she had said that she posts the examples below without divulging who the sender was. When I read it using a screen reader, it sounded like one post. If this were the case, anyone who knows anything about who owns and moderates the list knows that there are only 2 people with these priveleges, so I had said that it was a sneaky and somewhat underhanded thing to do to post this, knowing that we would know who sent it to her, even though she did not specifically say. So, to proove my point to her, I asked her who the post had come from. Before going any farther, I want to point out that I did ask for her permission concerning sending privately sent info to the list. I only received sarcasm in reply after no answer was given in her first reply to me, my asking again for the permission, and, well, all I got after that was sarcasm, as you will clearly see in what she sent to me. Here's her answer to my query about who the off list content came from: Well Charles, the way I see it is in the original post I did say there were two messages. With your understanding of English, does "Several of you may be interested" sound like a part of an message from one person to another? Several people did read it correctly because I've gotten messages about it. Brenda Green My comment here is that she could have merely told me the answer straight out, pure and simple. She chose the method you have read above. When asked again about whether I had permission to send what she sends to me to the list, here's her response: I have said I will not approve, reject or respond to any messages dealing with James North or this matter. Kevin is dealing with it. I am not about to suggest what you may or may not do. Brenda Green [EMAIL PROTECTED] co-owner/moderator of the blind gamer's discussion list My comment to the list: These last two posts that I received from her are the entire texts of what I received with the header info removed. Even in private Emails, you can get some insight as to how she treats at least one list member who tried, in some fashion, to communicate with her and to get some clarification on her meaning in posts to the list--sarcasm, rather than answers. On the other hand, I have sent posts to Kevin on this matter and gotten appropriate responses concerning my feelings and reasoning. What I have been receiving in the form of responses only strengthen my opinion of Brenda as a list moderator. I will give her some credit, though: Her treatment of people is the same, whether on or off list, as you can plainly see from what I have included here. shepherds are the best beasts [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] to leave send a blank Email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can contact the list owners/moderators by Emailing [EMAIL PROTECTED] to go nomail send a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] change "nomail" to "normal" to resume messages.
