Hi Brian,
in my football game, to start a new season, pick a new team and voices you will
need to delete all of the footbal dot dat (footbal*.dat) files as well as the
football.gtp file. You may also want to delete the footplay.txt file as it
contains the names of the players. If you just want to use different voices
you can press the f12 key while in the game.
