It's a real loss to the community that you won't be a member of this list,
but I totally understand why you will be unsubscribing. It's a disgusting
shame that people like those you mentioned caused you to leave. Even after
Kevin's admonition, Brenda had to stick in that she was not the only one who
did wrong, which was not at all the point. She should have stuck with
dealing with her own wrongdoing, without mentioning the actions of others,
but she didn't. She thought that the demo of Monty should have been out
yesterday, when the general work force considers Saturday and Sunday to be
the week end. She has to pick and pick and pick, and so do others. I'll be
joining the lists you offer on your site, James, with no hesitation. I do
want to be kept informed on any game progress. I have been disappointed
that raceway and Max haven't come out. I still believe that they will be
produced and that, because I preordered them, I will be getting them when
they do come out. Same with Monty. I preordered all 3. When you have had
something to report, you have reported it. To sum it up, some list members
should, but probably will not, be ashamed of themselves. They actually
would be ashamed if they looked at how they have behaved toward you with an
open mind, but they do not possess such a mind. They are not adult enough
to have seen themselves correctly, and I doubt that they ever will. The
only reason I will remain a member of this list is to get information about
new releases of games. Maybe it's just the type of person I am, but when
someone I support is shamelessly flamed, whether directly or indirectly by
shameless inuendos or jibes, I'll stick up for them. If it causes problems,
so be it. If everyone sees someone being blasted, I think that everyone
should also see the defense. It's only fair. I hope that Brenda, Shaun,
and those like them get everything in the way of news that they deserve.
Nothing. They drive the source of info away, they get what they should.
Nothing. No game, no demo, no news. They do have a right to their own
opinions, but do they have a right to knitpick, flame, insult, and generally
show their character? Again, I hope they get what's coming to them. If
they don't hear anything from Jame North in the future, they had it coming
to them, and there is no room for them to bitch. If I had any control over
who receives games, I would consider how people treated me, and refund any
preorders with a written reason as to why, and not sell to them from this
point on. That's just a suggestion, though, and a personal opinion. You
get what you deserve.
