I agree with Vapour here.  I have Qwest, and they have always given me free 
long-distance, on my cell phone and land line alike.  Just ask, and they'll 
get you to the right place.

Every other phone company that I've talked to offers similar exemptions for 
blind people.

Of course, with most telephone information available on the Internet 
nowadays, phone numbers are usually just a quick search away.
