OK, I've decided to try something insane. I'm going to run a game on
www.rpol.net.
The game has been created. It's called BG: Dreams Underfoot. All I've
done at this point is posted a brief introduction for the game, and started
an OOC thread where we can chat about anything.
Once we have a group of players, we can start to decide what kind of game we
want, and we'll figure out which set of rules to use. I hope this gives
everyone a safe place to explored message board based gaming, role-playing,
or both.
Feel free to ask me any questions.
A few things to know: I have a full-time job, and will be checking in
during the evenings and on weekends.
And the other: I'm open to questions, creative ideas, constructive
criticism, anything.
To sign onto the game, you're going to have to create an account on
www.rpol.net. The account is free, and I found it very easy to create.
Last time I did it, there were no difficulties in doing this with JAWS.
Then, once you've got an account, go to the Fantasy section, and find BG:
Dreams Underfoot. The title is stolen from Charles de Lint, whose urban
fantasy books are quite good.
Click on the link for the game, and you should be able to see a link for the
Game Introduction, and for the OOC thread. Remember, things are very sparse
just now. Take a look, so you get a feel for how things are set up, and
then click on Request Access. On that page, you can send me a message
requesting access, and I'll get you signed up.
