When it says the control you want to change, just press the key you want
assigned to it. For instance, say you want the space bar as your throttle.
Just press it when the voice says throttle. It's a bit on the quirky side
because I had to press it twice.

Subject: audyssey: ASSIGNING KEYBOARD CONTROLS IN TOPSPEED2?

OK, I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH CHANGING THE KEYBOARD CONTROLS.
ITS NOT VERY CLEAR, BECAUSE ITS NOT IN A LIST WHERE YOU PRESS ENTER AND YOU
CAN THEN ASSIGN A PARTICULAR ALTERNATE KEYBOARD COMMAND.
ALSO, I HERE THE SPEECH OVERLAPPING WHEN THE OPTION TO STEER RIGHT COMES UP,
AND YOUR MAN IS STILL SAYING PRESS ESCAPE TO CANCEL.
I DON'T DO NOTHING, THEN IT SAYS STEER LEFT.
VERY ODD INDEED.
