Funny? I was under the impression that occasional colorful language was
permitted on this list. If I was mistaken, then I sincerely apologize. If,
however, there isn't a list guideline censoring what we can and cannot say
on list, then it semms as if I should be warned of this before being placed
on moderated status for this reason. (Contrary to statements to Tom's
message, I have not repeatedly beeen using what Tom considers profane
language. I sent one, possibly two, messages that included a word which
begins with the letters s and h.
While I completely agree that Tom and Raul should be allowed to moderate
the list with the authority which their position grants them, I disagree
significantly with their putting list members on moderated status with no
warning. I was warned about a post I made, which was clearly a joke, because
peopel are too sensitive and either didn't get my joke or didn't find it
amusing. I was never warned about my choice of language. Some transparency
would be appreciated here.
