Hey, does anyone remember Robotron, at least I think that was what it was
called. You were the runaway human, and you were being followed by robots
with lasers. You had a laser as well and the controllers for the game were
two joysticks, one to move your guy and a second to shoot in the direction
you wanted to shoot. It was a top down view and you could shoot in the eight
cardinal directions.
man, I also remember Death Race 2000. That had a steering wheel on a floor
unit, up to four people could play. Pedestrians would cross the screen and
you got points for running them down, if any game should be translated to
an audible version it should be that,lol
