Hi Joseph,
Breakout and Super Breakout were two games   for the Atari back in the 
1980's. You had a wall of colored blocks, a   ball, and a paddle. The 
object of the game was to hit the ball in to the   blocks with your paddle 
and break out of the wall. As the wall broke apart   it got harder and 
harder to hit the remaining pieces of the wall without   losing your ball.
Once you broke out of the wall you had a different wall   to break out of, 
and went on until you either beat the game, fat chance,   or eventually 
lost your ball.
