Wow, I have gotten a ton of responses from the Rail Racer trailer.
I have tried to answer each and every email, but if I missed someone, I
apologize.
One thing folks are asking about is the tag style of racing that will be
included in the game.
I should have gone into more detail about that in the trailer.
Basically the concept is this:
You and your computer opponent will run a two lap qualifier. The racer
that wins the qualifier will be the tag-e in the first tag round, with the
other being the tagger.
In the tag round, the racer that is the tag-e will get a two second head
start after which the tagger will take off after them.
The tagger gets three laps to catch the tag-e. The first tagger to not
catch his prey in a round loses the contest. If the tag-e is caught, then a
new round starts with tag-e and tagger switching sides.
I hope that all makes sense.

I think it will be a very fun and unique way of playing a racing game,
trying to catch that elusive prey, are on the flip side trying to elude a
dogged hunter.
