Hi Tom and Che,

You know instead of changing a person's computer settings, you could write the
number of the sapi5 voice that the game used to a file and then have the game
use that voice the next time that it is run.

I personally like to use different voices for different games and I really do
not like it when a program changes the settings of my computer.

Hi Che,
As it happens what you just told me of setting the default SAPI voice in
control panel I didn't know before. You might want to put that in your
manual when you release it just in case others aren't aware of that
fact. I just changed mine to set Neospeech Kate as the default, and I am
glad I found that out. i hate it when one of the Microsoft voices comes
up in SAPI apps.
Still, it would be nice if you can make a link to the control panel from
your game to change and set the default voice.

"Normal" is a setting on a washing machine.
