Hi.
I am having a problem in winfrotz tts.
Some games don't save.
they say they save but when I search the current directory for the saved games
I can't find them.
Every time I play trinity by infocom and make an error I need to restart.
Then I try to rush through to the particular point in the game I was at.
and eventually frotz justs exits.
Infact in some games it will exit for no reason.
While I am happy to have the old frotz games, I wish these things can get
sorted.
The old dosfrotz never did this.
And if I had my way I would still be using it.
But that system is deead and will probably stay that way for sometime maybe for
ever now.
Its really maddening, I get to where I am about to finnish the game and bang
something goes wrong.
And the thing is I know where I stuff up.
I just wish I could save and restore.
Once I almost completed the game but stupid me exited it because I had to do
something.
Now I am trying to complete it again.
I will try again tonight.
If I am carefull and slow I should be ok.
I hope tads gets made to tts though.
I also hope someone gets permition from some of those authors of agt games to
hack ports of inform versions or something so we can play them.
I really want to play cosmoserve again, but no dos system and well windows
doesn't read those.
The stupid thing is all agt is for is dos and mac.
No windows or linux.
