Hi Richard,
Well, planning for security should be a high priority. unfortunately
security is one of those things it generally isn't taught in books and
class rooms. It is usually discovered.
For example, even though you are using C++ and compiling to a native
binary someone with a dissasembler still can in theory decompile it to
assembly and hack it. So you use a third-party program of your choosing
to interupt the native code with garbage so it is impossible to
understand what is dissassembled. Of course, this should only be applied
after debugging your program as it kills debuggers, and other types of
debugging tools.
