Hi all.

I have talked to several people who found the bavisoft games, particularly
chillingham to be very unstable under windows xp. In fact I have one friend
who cannot complete the game at all, every time she attempts to enter the
tomb the game crashes and she can get no further. This is a very
unfortunate situation because Bavisoft has a couple of really good titles
with grizzly gulch and chillingham, but if the games are plagued with
problems to the point of being unplayable that doesn't help them much. I
don't personally own chillingham but I intend to try grizzly gulch under
win2k one of these days and see if it is as bad, if it is I unfortunately
will probably remove it from my system. I really do not mean to gripe
excessively here, but I sincerely hope that Bavisoft addresses this issue.
GG was in fact the first accessible game I bought and still is high on my
list of accessible games. To whoever suggested reducing the hardware
accelleration of the sound card, thanks very much for that suggestion I will
pass it on to those who I know are having trouble with these games. However
as you stated this is really not an acceptable solution because it adversely
affects the performance of many other programs.

Regards,

Tom

> Hey listers. Since I got my new headphones today, I was trying to play
some chillingham. The problem I am having is this, I can play a little bit
of Chillingham, then all of a sudden, the game will stop, and no sound will
come out at all. I even have to reboot my computer to get JAWS to work
again. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I need some help, cause I have
no idea why this is happening.
