Well, I agree that oval track racing can be pretty boring, but the Nascar
series does include a couple of road courses. Watkins Glen for example is a
great track, and used to be host to the american formula one race.
When I could see, I was a racing game junkie, and the only course I raced
in Nascar 3 was Watkins Glen.
The last time I kept up with Nascar, they were still racing that track.
In fact, I like the course so much, I am including a realistic
representation of it in Rail Racer, which hopefully will be out this summer
sometime.
Rail Racer will also include Talledega, if you like to go fast and faster,
this is the best track in the world for pure speed.
Don't get me wrong, racing on an oval at 200 plus miles an hour is not
easy, especially with 31 other cars to maneuver around, but I think road
courses offer a much more intense racing experience.
  Later taters,
  Che
