Man, do you have any idea how much those little stones hurt when they hit your bare feet? For that matter, those blamed little pieces of gravel really make walking difficult unless you are accustomed to going barefoot all of the time. ((LOL) Now that I think of it, when I was a wee lad and went barefoot in the summer I could walk across rocks, gravel and whatever without pain. Perhaps it is that the additional weight which my poor old feet have to support drives those little pieces of rock deeper into my feet? (LOL) Cy, the Ancient Okie...
