I've got another guy coming out tomorrow to give us another quote, but here's my question. The first guy said that they would have to pull my furnace to put I believe the coil or something like that underneath. The second guy who put the furnace in originally said they don't need to pull it out at all. They may need to change out the blower fan motor if it it's not the right type for some reason, I think he said on the phone a 3 speed or the like. My question is where is this thing called the plenum located? Also what does it do? I should know that I guess but unfortunately I don't have that information at hand. Is it on the upper part near the fan or is it down close to the floor? The second guy represents the company who installed the furnace in the first place. It doesn't happen often but when you get 2 contractors saying they are going to go about a given job differently it is rather irritating to say the least. David Ferrin [EMAIL PROTECTED]
