A couple of other thoughts. Set a bug zapper buy the entrance and turn it of. It will take a couple of days but it will work. And if you are going to use an insect spray, try Spectracide which is good for all kinds of bugs including bees.

Around $6 for about a 8 or 12 ounce bottle. I bought a hose sprayer and set the amount of concentrate per gallon and did the perimeter of the house and the shutters which were loaded with yellow jackets or hornets. It only took one treatment.
