Ray, we have , for sharpening knives, an old stanby from my Grandmother
in law. it feels like it has a series of washers along both sides and
you run the knife back thru this thing five or six times.. It sold for
$2.00 in their family store in 1947. also I remember a pretty good knife
sharpner attached to a electric can opener many years ago but that
machine died before its time.Lee
