An 8 inch diameter tree is a lot of tree to put in garbage cans! What kind of a tree is this? If it is hardwood maybe someone in your neighborhood would cut it down for you just to get the firewood. If it is apple, perhaps there is someone in the neighborhood, like me that would cut it for the wood to smoke sausage.
