You se even as a blind person myself The thought of soldering eletronic components does not seem practical but then again I have never tried or for that matter know the first thing about soldering I don't know how a blind person solders but I do not assume it can not be done. So I am half as ignorent as the average sighted personb.
It is kind of a strainge irony but I think the best way for sighted people to understand what a blind person can do is to let them actually see it them selves visually. It is pretty easy to dismiss what some one says about what they can do because people brag all the time about things that they can do when in fact they have no clue. This is true amung blind and sighted alike but it is hard to dismiss when some thing is demonstrated.
