I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to say anything since I don't
intend to do it.

BTW, I will soon begin constructing my version of the Norm Abrams Deluxe
Router table. I intend to keep a cassette machine to hand and describe the
cut plan, the sequence and the project as it progresses. There may be
Copyright issues but I don't think I'll ask.

I may require someone to do some editing for digital production when the
time comes.

Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Files page suggestion

> Hi all.
>
> It seems to me that it might be helpful if there were files added to the
> Files Page that contain some of the information that is frequently sought
> here, regarding where to buy specialized tools.
>
> For instance, The subject of where to buy the following things have come
> up recently. Things like the Clickrule, Rotomatic, talking multimeter,
> talking tape measure, , and many more items that are either specialized
> for the blind or extremely blind friendly.
>
> Maybe a file could be added for each item, as it comes up on the list and
> would be there for all , for future reference.
>
> For example, there could be a file entitled "Where to buy the Clickrule".
> The body of the file would then contain the appropriate information.
> Another one could be "Where to buy a talking multimeter". And so forth.
>
> Another file that might be worthwhile is our current discussion talking
> about the pros and cons of the Clickrule and the Rotomatic. It would
> always be there for future reference and we wouldn't have to rewrite it
> each time the subject comes up. People could be referred to the Files
> Page for, at least, a first reference.
>
> I realize this would take time for someone to do, but it seems to be
> frequently asked info and might be worth the effort. It would be
> information specifically geared toward us blind guys, too.
>
> Now, please don't anyone get all upset over this suggestion. It is simply
> a suggestion and nothing more.
>
> Thanks-- Mickey
