Yesterday afternoon I did get to pick up a 10 amp Toro blower / vacuum combination. That second thing is the only reason I wanted the thing in the first place. It blows up to 215 MPH and has a bag attachment to catch all of the clippings. So I was able to make fairly short work of everything my 50 foot extension cord was able to reach in around an hours time. There's still more to do and quite bit of leafs still remaining across the street which I am sure will be in my yard very soon no doubt. It was sure nice not to have to do all of that bending a couple of hundred times during the course of cleaning up the yard. Now I need to pick up a longer extension cord to reach down by the street because that's where the highest concentration of leafs are right now. So that's where we quit for the day and besides we ran out of day light right about then. Fortunately and I wasn't completely sure before starting but I do have enough usable vision to see what I'm doing. That helps a lot as well.
