The only idea that I've had is to purchase a very cheap throwaway ratchet with the same size head and extract the spring and ball bearing from it. You could probably do this by drilling from the opposite side and punching the ball bearing out. You can then insert the ball bearing in spring into your good ratchet and peen the edges of the whole over to hold the ball bearing and spring in.
