forgive me for this reference but I wish to mention this you speak of wood splitters. the actual reference for such equipment are as follows: Chainsaws: Petrol or electric units with a bar and chain for direct cutting. used for felling, professional and semi professional trade use and home log ripping Splitting wedges: Anvil and razer sharp blade contact which is placed on the log or tree and driven in with a sledge hammer splitting axe / felling axe: used like a splitting wedge in the same manner but a direct tool Auto splitter. floor mounted or trolley mounted petrol or electric driven block with auto puller plate to a splitting axe or sometimes a Circular saw blade. please be aware that chainsaws and auto splitters are incredibly dangerous and require specialist knowledge and appropriate safety equipment. I train people how to use saws here in Wales and demonstrate the correct methods of use etc lew
