Maybe, you could pick up a selection of screws from #4 through #12 and a selection of bolts from 3/16" (also a #10) through 1" in lengths of about 2 inches long. these could be labeled individually and put in a box of appropriate size, or drill holes of the appropriate size in a block of wood for each size.
