Thanks Py for the suggestion, but the way the weather is at present, I won't
have to wait
long for rain.
Dale! What I will suggest to Rad is: that he cut some of the corrogated iron
offcuts into
strips, and either bend a lip onto them, or take them to roofcraft to have them
do it. We
will then slip them under the existing roof with the lip fitting over the back
edge of the
guttering.
Thank you very much for your idea as Rad, although a skilled tradesman really
didn't have
much of a clue as to what was happening. Mind you, he hadn't been here during
heavy rain
to see what the trouble was. Now, I can render him speechless with admiration
by
suggesting this method of fixing the problem. You won't mind if I take the
credit will
you?
