Hi Jay and welcome to the list I am also new to the list just a few weeks
and it's great. I was a general contractor for 25 years and still do lots
of building projects and have a very nice 1000 sq. ft. shop and am in the
middle of doing a major remodel project on our house Tom

Hello all! I just found out about this list and thought that I would
subscribe and help where I can and maybe get some new ideas from others.
My
name is Jay and I am 38 years old with a lot of experience in both home
renovations/landscape construction and automotive. A little history on
myself is that first of all, I lost my sight just about 10 years ago but
before then I worked as a renovator and did landscape construction with my
dads business then left there and was a licensed auto mechanic and race
car
builder and driver for 8 years. The last job that I held down just before
I
went total was as a building matenance manager for a large medical
building.
I have taken most of what I have learned over the years and learned how to
make it all a tactile experience and continue doing what I have always
loved
to do and that is to work with my hands. I hope that I can find a spot to
contribute here and also learn some new tricks that I haven't yet or at
  least find an easier way.

  Jay
