Hi Edward the smart level only beeps audibly in plumb or level posision but it
does have a digital display that shows degrees slope and pitch and you would
have to have pretty good sight to see it they also have a digital protractor
but I don't know how that works as I have never seen one Tom

  Hi Tom,

Thanks for the info. Is the unit fairly accessible? Is it possible
to set specific degrees in the unit and get an audible response at
  that angle? Thanks a lot.

  Take care,
