I realize this is off topic, but I'd be curious in speaking to the
CNIB even though I live in the us. Seems no one can tell me much
about what is available on these phones. Now I'll tell you another
candidate would be the LG Fusic or its other name is the LG 5500
which is a Sprint phone on the CDMA network. Its pretty advanced, but
from what playing I've done with the LG and the Samsung, the only
real major problem is when your entering text, you get no audible
feedback on either phone. I will say on the LG you can set even stuff
like the alarm and you can work through the adding of contact info,
but the Samsung seemed to be a much greater problem since during the
adding process I couldn't find a way to get any real verbal feedback.
Others might know the screts and I've only had the LG for a few days,
but it has its own issues. Seems if you want full access to all phone
capabilities, you are forced to go with a GSM carrier and something
like Mobile Speak or Talx.
