  Just a note of caution here about working with those power miter saws. I
  realize most of you need to use your hands to align and fix measurements; so
  be careful about getting your paws near that blade. Here's why I mention
  this (because I suspect you are all very careful without me sounding like
  "Mom"); about a year and ½ ago I was working on a small project and had just
  put a new blade on the miter saw. As it turned out, I hadn't adequately
  tightened the bolt holding the blade in place and it had loosened up a bit.
  When I shut the saw off I heard a very peculiar sound, like a wheel turning.
  The blade was loose enough to continue "rolling" even though the power was
  off. Had I stuck my hand near that blade I would've been hurtin' for
  certain. So always be on your toes when working with this machinery.
