Well, I returned theDewalt palm sander. Even with a shop vac hooked up there was no air being sucked through the dust ports. I purchased a Ridgid. It has the same 2.4 amp motor and you do not need an adaptor to hook up to a standard shop vac. This model was $5.00 cheaper and I did not need the additional $10.00 adaptor. When I opened the package I was pleasantly surprised. It has the new Ridgid life time warranty. They are including this with many of their power tools including some pneumatic nailers.
