Dave Not 100 percent sure but I doubt there is any thing you can do about this in a home shop. Hydraulics produce a tremendous amount of pressure and if the cylinder is leaking it will probably have to be totally replaced or have a shop rebuild it. In my humble opinion if it is a leaking cylinder I would not mess around with it. I would just have it replaced. Question I would have is weather you just have no lift capacity or is there some thing wrong mechanically with the handle or some other part. Can you give more details?
