It would most likely explode if you turn the oven on my friend. David Ferrin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Victor Gouveia" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Blind Handyman Listserv" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, February 01, 2007 10:46 AM Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Radiation Test
Hi All, My brother just told me of a neat trick that helps you determine whether the seal on your microwave has been broken and is leaking radiation. Apparently, if you put your cell phone in the microwave then call it, if it rings, then your microwave is leaking radiation. If, on the other hand, your cell phone does not ring, then your microwave's integrity is not compromised and is safe to use. Anyone know if this is true or not?
