Point is though that the radiation is very small and although there isn't good evidence that it is harmless and not very good evidence that it is harmful, this article was full of errors and half truths. In my opinion it makes it unreliable.
Confusing frequency with output power for one example. Therapeutic microwave though now becoming somewhat unpopular was pretty common. The dangers and contraindications were potential eye damage and testicular roasting. one took measures to protect those organs. Actually I believe it was thought it might cook the sperms or render one impotent but I am unaware of it ever happening. My point though is the relevant power requirements. It is known that microwaves can be harmful and it is known that cell phone frequencies are approaching microwave frequencies but so too are loads of other radio radiation sources. Good point though about altering output power increasing it where signals are weak. What this would mean to most users though is that they would again be receiving less radiation than from an analog phone when near a good tower signal thus further reducing their exposure. Just because it is on the Web does not make it reliable or correct.
