Often heat will reactivate the contact cement making it easier to peal off the laminate. A putty knife to work under it and an iron to heat the laminate. You may need quite a bit of heat so might want to iron through something like a towel. Can't guarantee this method but it has worked for me. You won't likely get it all off in one sheet and be careful, when it cracks or brakes the edges can be raiser sharp. .
