Gerry, I have this tool that I think is called a grabber. It has a long flexible bar that feels like a tight spring. You push a button on the top to open the claw-like prongs on the other end. Then when you push the tool into a drain, you release the button and it grabs hair and the like. I even picked up a ring out of a drain with that thing once. Betsy
