No, It was a dessert sauce. The container was definately a recycled container. Karen could see the arcs jumping all around the top edge of it.. She quickly got it out before any harm was done. I now know what to listen for and will immediately stop the oven. Lenny, It may be that if you were heating up some sort of meat; beef, pork, chicken, etc that may cause the arcing as well.
