Hi Everyone For some time now I have been contemplating putting a kitchen unit in our office area at home. So we designed the unit made a drawing and went along to a flat pack kitchen manufacture to have them cut out the unit and we will put this together It will have rolled edges with the colour we chose and then install the completed unit. This will mean removing a section of moulding so the unit can fit flush against the wall finding the wall studs so we can screw the unit on and cutting out the section for the sink. Then getting water up to the office which means cutting out a section of concrete path to do so. We intent to have a small zip hot water unit installed under the sink so this is my project at the moment. Second Job on the go is removing all the counter tops from the kitchen inside the house removing a set of hot plates removing all the tiles on the splash back for we are going to change this removing the sink for we are going to change it. Replacing the taps with a flick mixer I have bought some plugs to blank off the water while this is in process and then removing the range hood and replacing it. This will of course take some time so this handy man has plenty of work ahead. I will let you know how I go screwing together the flat pack kitchen I only hope all the pieces are there and the splash back is the dimensions we ask it to be.
